Women on Wheels was established by Rachel Vann and Amy Taylor in October 2012. Never did we quite anticipate what we would create! But always at the heart of Women on Wheels you are guaranteed a safe ride, led by qualified British Cycling Ride Leaders, with enjoyable scenery, helping to build your confidence and love for riding a bike, as well as a well earned coffee and cake at the end of every ride.
We now have nearly 1000 followers on our Facebook page and 50-100 regular riders. Our riders range from those who like to go for a 10 mile pootle to those who like to take on a challenge of a sportive or audax of 100-160km!
In January 2018 we affiliated ourselves to British Cycling. Even though we are a registered cycling club, we always aim to maintain our social cycling ethos offering a diverse range of bike rides and cycle training for women in Worcestershire.
If you’re new to cycling or would simply like to ride with other women, led by other women then look no further than Women on Wheels. To find out more about how to join us – why not watch this video for inspiration.
